2009-2010 President

Sharon Spiker

Elected at the 89th Annual Department of Kansas Convention in May 2009, Sharon Spiker, a native of Wetmore, Kansas, will lead the nearly 20,000 Auxiliary members in the Sunflower State to new levels of dedication to the Auxiliary and its programs.  "It has been an exciting and wonderful opportunity working on behalf of our Veterans and Youth and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this wonderful organization and the state of Kansas"

Having served Kansas as Historian, Chaplain and most recently as Vice President, President, Spiker has been actively promoting the importance of an enhanced membership responsibility to all members and is exited about the prospects in "The Sunflower State." Sharon retains her eligibility from her father Bob, a US veteran and Past American Legion Department Commander.
